The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Director to join our team! This full-time role involves working closely with the rest of the team on a day to day basis, working up your own cases and providing clinical support and guidance where needed. It also involves working closely with other management staff to ensure smooth, efficient running of the practice - including HR, finances, admin but percentage of time spent on clinical work. Duties will be based on applicants strengths/previous experiences/preferences. You will also be involved in the support of our new graduate Vets out of hours as well as being part of the out of hours rota (one night per week 2nd on call). Weekend work is 1:4 Saturday mornings (9-11).

Ashleigh Vets is a busy, friendly, 2 site practice in South Manchester that offer a great working environment. We offer our loyal clients a vet high standard of care. We are well equipt with all of the usual toys, digital x-ray, video endoscope and internal lab.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and competent Veterinary Surgeon who is prepared to lead the team in clinical matters and to help with their development. Previous management experience is not essential as there is support from the other CD’s, our BSM, and a development programme will be available. Your ability to be organised, calm, friendly and supportive is essential, as well as being approachable and trustworthy.
