The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Director to join our team! As a Clinical Director at Westwood Vets you will have the opportunity to manage the day to day running of the practice. Your role will include a high percentage of clinical work including mentoring but you will have allocated time each week for your managerial duties such as working HR, recruitment, finance planning, budget planning and more. Duties will be based on applicants strengths/previous experiences/preferences.

Westwood Vets are a busy, friendly, 2 site practice based in West Yorkshire. We offer high standards of first opinion care and we offer a great working environment. We are well equipped and one of our sites has been recently purpose built.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and competent Veterinary Surgeon who is prepared to lead the team in clinical matters and to help with their development. Previous management experience is not essential as there is support from the other CD’s, our BSM, and a development programme will be available. Your ability to be organised, approachable, supportive and friendly is essential, as well as being confident clinically with all first opinion procedures.
