The role of a Veterinary Care Assistant is varied and includes responsibilities such as restraining patients, maintaining kennels, and performing laboratory tasks. You will also be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing equipment and instruments, supporting theatre operations by assisting with procedures, managing dispensing duties, and supporting our nurses and vets where needed.

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and staffed by a team of experienced veterinary specialists, offering a range of referral services in surgery, internal medicine, and diagnostics. We work closely with referring veterinarians to ensure that every pet receives the highest standard of care, tailored to their individual needs. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience working with animals, ideally in a clinical environment, and animal care qualifications are desirable. The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, while maintaining a caring and empathetic approach, is essential. We are looking for a strong team player with confident and effective communication skills.

This is a permanent, full-time role requiring 40 hours per week. Shifts vary between the hours of 8am and 7pm. There will be a requirement to work a fair share of Saturdays.
