We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Animal Assistant to join our warm and supportive team at Woodlands Veterinary Centre. This role will primarily be based at our Liphook location, where you'll work alongside a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse. Your responsibilities will include assisting with nurse clinics, helping to restrain pets during veterinary examinations, and supporting our front-of-house team in providing exceptional care to our wonderful clients.
Although our highly experienced Head Nurse is based at our Midhurst site, you will have frequent opportunities to collaborate with her throughout the week.
About Us
We are situated in the beautiful South Downs, a stone’s throw away from the coast and London, giving the best of both worlds. We are an hour from both Heathrow and Gatwick Airport allowing for close transport links to Europe and beyond. We have plenty of scope at the Liphook site to expand due to the size of the practice.
Over the three sites we have lots of toys, to name a few, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, a multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, blood pressure, microscope, in house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, ultrasound with cardiac and an abdominal probe, laser, ECG, endoscope and tonometer.

Your shift pattern
You will be requested to work 40 hours each week, start and finish time will vary depending on the day, this may also include a Saturday morning once a month.
Salary for the role is £23,878.40 per annum.
