We are looking for a part time Veterinary Surgeon to join our exceptional practice.

Join us at Vale Vets! This position is part-time, based on an 18 hour week, with a share of OOH. As well as a competitive salary, we offer additional remuneration for OOH work. We are happy to discuss rota pattern, so please get in touch.

The hospital is staffed with 8 Vets, 8 Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Nurses and a Veterinary Care Assistant. Working alongside the day team we have qualified Night Nurses who provide 24-hour care of our inpatients.  We are also a registered Training Practice for student nurses, and a registered EMS centre for student vets from the Langford Veterinary School. 

Our support team consists of a Practice Manager committed to customer care, a Reception Manager and 4 receptionists, an Insurance Administrator, Financial Administrator and Dog Groomer. Based in Portishead, which is an easy commute from Bristol. We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Vet to join our team in a progressive Tier 3 hospital, with a pride in high clinical standards.

We are well equipped with various diagnostic and clinical tools, including laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography (including dental radiography), in-house laboratory, multi-parameter monitoring equipment, and much more!

We have been awarded Gold in the ICC cat friendly clinic awards and the hospital has separate cat and dog waiting rooms for clients, separate inpatient wards for cats / dogs / isolation, and dedicated consulting times during the week for cat-only appointments.
