The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Nithsdale Vets! The role is a full-time position with 1 in 5 weekends and one night a week on call. A practice vehicle is available to use when on call. We pride ourselves on offering our own out of hours service to our own clients for case continuity.

Salary up to £25,000 negotiable depending on experience. 

About Us

We are a busy two site, small animal, first opinion practice located in beautiful and scenic Dumfries and Galloway. A varied and interesting caseload with most cases investigated and treated in house. Well-equipped practice with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab at both sites and endoscopy & orthopaedic equipment at our main branch. We are a friendly team with some excellent cake bakers!

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is adaptable and will work well within our team. An experienced nurse would be preferred; however, a recently qualified keen and enthusiastic applicant will be considered. The wide and varied caseload with support will allow the right candidate to use or develop their skills.
