The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis, on an FTC (maternity cover). With this in mind, there is an element of flexibility, however, 8:00 am -18:00 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays would be ideal as a minimum, accompanied by a 1:4 weekend rota, with no OOH. There will be ample support on hand, as the Veterinary Nurse will be working closely with a team of 2 Vets, 1 Veterinary Nurse, and 2 Receptionists. The role will be as varied as possible including the responsibility for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

The salary for the role is up to £30,000 per annum pro-rata depending on experience.

About Us

Lynton Vets Bagshot is situated in Surrey. One of the most important things to us here at Lynton is our history and local “Village Vet” reputation for providing the highest level of service and value for all our clients. Established over 60 years ago, we are a small animal practice and as part of our ongoing commitment to improving our facilities, we are continuing to refurb and equip all three of our practices to the same high standard.

We are also continually updating and growing our range of equipment. As a practice we endeavour to set high standards and keep up with new developments to give the best possible patient care and excellent service to our clients, with this in mind we have also achieved our Silver Cat-Friendly status at our main branch.

About the Team and Culture

Our 7 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, and experienced Receptionists across the Group. We have a family-like culture in practice and have embedded a true support and encourage ethos amongst the team. Each practice has an essential SOS chocolate station and we are never short of cake with some excellent bakers across the group!

The mental and physical well-being of the team is paramount to us - we like to show our support both in-house and externally by taking part in charity events such as "Ride for Dementia" and "Relay for Life" in aid of cancer research.
