We are looking for a fantastic GP Veterinary Surgeon to join our team her in our branch in Chepstow. You will be working in our sole charge clinic, as part of our large veterinary group of 10 clinics across South Wales. We are looking for someone to join us on a full time basis but would consider part time for the right candidate, Saturday morning shifts at our main Newport clinic are on a fair rota basis and on average you would be working 1 in 6 shifts, there are no OOH or bank holidays as these are covered by our emergency care provider VetsNow. Salary range is £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience.
Our Chepstow branch is a small single consulting room clinic with separate surgical and kennelling facilities. Our team here at Summerview Veterinary Surgery would be made up of 1 Veterinary Surgeon, 1 RVN and 2 Part-Time Receptionists. We are fortunate to be able to provide a good support network of professionals in our group and have several certificate holders which include imaging, dermatology, surgical and medical.
We are close to local amenities in the heart of the Bulwalk community and just a 10 min drive away from Chepstow town centre. We are 30 mins drive from the lively cities of Bristol and Newport so if you were looking for a slightly more relaxed working environment we would be perfect for you.
You will be MRCVS and RCVS registered who is capable of working sole charge. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, friendly and a self-motivated team member with previous practice experience.
