The Role

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our amazing team here at Lynton House Vets. This is a full-time position (however we would consider part time/flexible working) offering the opportunity to enjoy a superb work/life balance with a 4-day week, no OOH and 2:6 weekends -1) Saturday 8am-4pm & Sunday 9am-11am or 2) Saturday AM - with time back in lieu.

The role would be primarily based at our Woking practice and may include some sole charge work. We like to keep your working day varied and therefore you will have a mix of consulting and surgery. We encourage the opportunity for you to build your case load and therefore rapport with clients. 

About Us

We are a long established, Small Animal Veterinary Group based in Woking, Bagshot and Addlestone. As a progressive practice we recently relocated to our brand new, purpose-built hospital, and continue to invest to refurbish and equip our other 2 practices to the same high standard. The practice maintains state of the art clinical equipment such dental radiography, Virtual Veterinary equipment (VVS) ultrasound scanners, anaesthetic multiparameter and patient warming equipment. We also have a purpose-built grooming salon at our main site. We have a loyal client base and a gold standard reputation across the local community. We have great transport links to London and the beauty and history of Surrey on our doorstep ready to explore.

Our 7 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 10 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and experienced Receptionists across the Group. We have a family like culture in practice and have embedded a truly support and encourage ethos amongst the team.  Each practice has an essential SOS chocolate station and we are never short of cake with some excellent bakers across the group! Mental and physical well-being of the team are paramount to us - we like to show our support both inhouse and externally by taking part in charity events such as "Ride for Dementia" and "Relay for Life" in aid of cancer research.


Applicant Requirements

With a high proportion of insured clients and the scope to work up cases, we are looking for a dedicated, compassionate and proactive individual, competent in medicine and general surgery and who takes pride in providing exceptional client and patient care. The ideal candidate with have a passion for surgery, with strong skill set (ideally orthopaedic). We are looking for an avid team player, who can truly get on board with the family culture we have in practice.
