A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our well-established and friendly team at our first opinion practice based in Stokesley. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 4 days with two Saturday mornings per month and no out of hours. Case continuity is encouraged with the emphasis on client communication and care. Although this is a full time role we are open to both full time and part time applications, as part time job share is an option also. Accommodation can be provided above the practice as well as a relocation allowance.
Up to £55K DOE plus relocation allowance up to £5000 and welcome bonus up to £3000
We are a small practice in the market town of Stokesley with an excellent, friendly, and loyal client base. A family practice at heart, our staff remain for many years due to the excellent support provided. We are a well-equipped practice that focuses on case continuity, client communication and client care. Our practice is ideally located for outdoor enthusiasts, with the North Yorkshire Moors on our doorstep, or the beach only 10 miles away.
We are a four Veterinary Surgeon practice with one of our Veterinary Surgeons holding a certificate in small animal surgery who is happy to coach and encourage further training. Our Veterinary Surgeons are excellently looked after by our qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse, and Student Veterinary Nurse. Our support team is made up of our superb Practice Manager who over the years has shown great commitment and provided support to enable the success of the team, along with the help of our four strong Veterinary Reception team.
We are a small team who are happy to meet up for a night out and have taken part in charity events together. Our new member would be welcomed with open arms and encouraged to slot into this already great team.
We are looking for a RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon who is enthusiastic and a good team player with excellent communication skills.
Experience in routine surgical procedures and day to day consultations would be preferred but not essential. You will be joining a team who enjoy the varied and at times fast paced caseload, but still find time to support each other. Further study towards certificates is encouraged and fully funded.
