- Practice Manager Bonnie Jones
Mount Road is a small animal practice located very centrally in Manchester. We’re based in a terraced building with a very homely feel, within a lively city. At the practice we do consults daily, as well as procedures such as lump removals and neutering. The team are all very close and we get along very well.
We’re fortunate to have very loyal clients, including some that have been coming here for over 40 years, and we work hard to deliver a service that's the best it can be, and that’s affordable for our clients. We are a big part of the community and are very proud of our reputation. We even have people coming in who may find it more convenient to attend other practices, but still choose to travel here for the team and the service that we can give them here.
We’ve got a very strong team who care about and support each other.
The clients are great here too and really care about their animals.
As soon as you come into the practice you can feel there’s a very positive vibe, it’s very caring and everyone is passionate about their work. It's a great atmosphere to work in.
We are a practice where everybody looks out for one another and there’s a very strong team spirit here. We take care of each other, and we lift each other up; there’s always that team focus.
We’re located close to the city centre of Manchester which has so much to offer. There are lots of things to do, including great shopping, and so many lovely places to eat! For myself, I've got an allotment which is my favourite way to unwind, and I love going to the gym. We’re situated in a great location for that perfect mix of city life, but still with a community spirit.
It’s a big priority for us. There’s a lot of opportunity for progression, especially with our nurses which is a big focus for us at the moment. We know that as our team develops, it increases the service that we can give here to our clients, and we want to ensure everyone is supported to reach their full potential.
We’ve got a wonderful mix of staff, everybody's got different hobbies and interests, and I think that's probably why we all get along so well. We’re a mix of characters and different personalities; some people are more introverted, and some are more extroverted, but everyone is welcomed and supported, and I think compliments each other.
It's a good balance within the team, but we’re also always happy to welcome new people in and to have them become part of our collaborative team. We all love working here.
