Farm Vets today

Working in partnership with UK Farmers

IVC Evidensia Farm Vets Mission Statement

Our mission is to offer excellence in all areas of farm animal health, welfare and food safety.

We strive to support farmers with sustainable production that improves animal welfare, by utilising new technologies, efficiencies and solutions in preventative healthcare.

Our dedicated farm teams across Europe provide our core delivery of local veterinary services, with additional support by experts in their field. Their commitment to high quality partnerships with farmers delivers peace of mind, as well as value in a fast paced changing world.

We are committed to investing in our team's continuous professional development, transferring knowledge and expertise to our veterinarians, technicians and support staff.

Driving thriving careers from Graduate to Clinical Director

In 2021, over 7,000 hours of farm CPD will be undertaken by IVC Evidensia Farm Vets. Our staff have the freedom to utilise their CPD budgets, however they see fit, to best support their interests and personal development. Demonstrating our commitment to supporting and developing our farm vet teams, the farm animal clinical board has been instrumental in facilitating online in-house CPD sessions since COVID-19 hit in 2020. These are in addition to the courses available via our dedicated learning and development team and are delivered by internal and external key opinion leaders, to regularly bring our farm vet teams together from across the country.

Our industry leading Farm Vet Graduate Academy program also brings together graduates with seasoned farm vets from across the network, for practical experience as part of the program. Check out the videos below to see what that looks like.

Your trusted partner for a sustainable future

IVC Evidensia are engaged in ensuring the veterinary profession's view is heard when it comes to farm animal welfare and food safety. We are, therefore, delighted to be part of all the regional Farmcare companies in England, as one of the 4 Key Delivery Partners involved with these companies.

Each of the 4 different Farmcare companies in England will be delivering Veterinary Delivery Partner (VDP) work for APHA, having been awarded the TB testing contract for the 4 English regions for 2021-2024 by the UK government.
