  • Active lifestyles: From our Cycle To Work scheme to our discounted gym memberships, we offer a range of support and opportunities to be active in a way that works for you. 
  • Care Fund: At IVC Evidensia, we understand that providing exceptional care extends beyond veterinary treatment. Our Care Fund is dedicated to supporting our staff in delivering the best possible care to both pets and their owners during challenging times, ensuring that compassionate support is always within reach. 
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP): Our 24-hour confidential hotline provides veterinary professionals with immediate access to professional support and guidance whenever they may need it. Whether facing personal challenges or work-related stress, our EAP is here to offer confidential assistance and resources. 
  • Family-friendly policy: Our flexible and balanced family-friendly policy offers, amongst other aspects to support you and your family, an enhanced return to work bonus to support team members returning to work from maternity, adoption, or shared paternity leave.

Health and wellbeing support initiatives:

  • Menopause support: across the UK we’ve introduced a range of menopause support initiatives. 

  • Mental Health Awareness in Agriculture training: a new initiative to support those in the agricultural sector. Providing necessary support to ensure vets have the skills to spot the signs of mental health crises and equip them with the resources to signpost anyone in need towards appropriate support, as well as understanding how to deliver difficult news to farming clients about their livestock while protecting their own mental health.
  • ​Wellbeing Hub: Our comprehensive Wellbeing Hub offers a wealth of resources and support articles tailored to address common mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and managing mental health in the workplace. Accessible to all team members, the Hub serves as a vital resource for information and guidance.

Mental Health First Aiders and Wellbeing Champions Network

Since January 2020, we've expanded our network to include over 500 Mental Health First Aiders and 100 dedicated Wellbeing Champions across the UK.

These trained professionals serve as accessible points of contact, providing invaluable support and resources to anyone in need of mental health assistance.
