Wherry Vets is a wonderful, supportive, first opinion practice located in Bungay, Suffolk which is a lovely rural area with nearby beaches and only half an hour from the city of Norwich.

We are a small close-knit team made up of 1 full time Vet/Clinical Director, 2 part time Vets, additional locum Vets 2-3 days per week, 2 full time RVNs, 2 part time RVNs, 1 SVN (close to qualifying), 2 ACA/receptionists and 3 part time receptionists who are all ready to welcome a new graduate by providing regular access to routine surgeries and consultations. All the currently employed Vets are enthusiastic about encouraging learning of skills and sharing knowledge and have a good level of experience.

We have a fantastic practice with great facilities and equipment which include digital radiography, ultrasound scanner, endoscope and we are looking to develop hydrotherapy unit in the future.

Your normal hours of work are 38 hours per week, 4 days a week. Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6.30pm. You will also be required to participate in a Saturday rota 8.30am - 2pm (currently 1 in 5) but there is no out of hours!

We aspire to provide excellent first opinion experience allowing our graduate to develop core skills. There would be potential for a permanent position in the practice for the right candidate with encouragement to further improve and support for certificates available.
