The Role


We are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic team at Mainstone Veterinary Clinic. Day-to-day duties include: working in a close-knit team, in-patient care, anaesthesia, nurse clinics, lab, x-rays, dental and occasional reception duties.
 
This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week on a structured rota basis with a rotating Friday shift. You will work 1:5 Saturdays 8 am – 1 pm, there are no out-of-hours.

About the Team and Culture


By far the best part of our practice is our team, we have 6 vets, 5 nurses, 5 receptionists and 2 admins. We are a tight-knit, caring team and strongly promote CPD and those wanting to pursue certificates, as well as being a registered training practice. We run puppy parties and hold educational evenings for clients. We promote ourselves in the local community by doing school visits, open days, and brownies/ guides visits, and partake in the Romsey Show, Dogstival and New Forest Show. We are bee-friendly and hold a silver cat care award for being a cat-friendly practice, as well as being keen activists for the positive pawprint.

We are looking for a mature experienced qualified veterinary nurse who is excited to be part of a close-knit team. You will be happy with working in sole charge and have patient care at the forefront of all you do. Our ideal person is friendly and approachable, with good communication skills and an eager attitude to learn.
