A veterinary degree recognised by the RCVS.
RCVS registration (or eligibility to register).
Eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available for overseas applicants).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and adaptable approach to learning.
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Professional Costs Covered: VDS and RCVS registration fees
Leave: 7 weeks annual leave, plus your birthday off
Hands-On Experience: Active involvement in out-of-hours emergency care with primary case responsibility under supervision
Diverse Caseload: Exposure to a wide range of cases across multiple rotations
Comprehensive induction with lectures, workshops, and practical learning
Weekly seminars, in-house CPD opportunities, and RCVS Knowledge Library membership
£500 CPD allowance, Basic and Advanced Life Support training, and VECCS membership for one year
Mentorship: Dedicated clinical mentor and RCVS Vet GDP mentor for new graduates

Our hospital offers a structured Small Animal Rotating Internship for veterinarians seeking hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Role Overview
This 12-month internship is suitable for recent graduates or veterinary surgeons with general practice experience. Interns rotate through Internal Medicine/Cardiology, Surgery, Emergency, and Critical Care, with the option to choose additional elective rotations.
The programme provides a strong foundation for further discipline-specific training or for building confidence in clinical case management across a diverse caseload.
