We are looking for an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon who is focused on clinical excellence and teamwork to join us at Downland Veterinary Group in Emsworth. We have a steady established orthopaedic caseload where you will benefit from state-of-the-art equipment required to perform TPLO, MPL, fracture repair and many other procedures. You will be joining an experienced and collaborative team who are keen to welcome new colleagues. 

We are open to applications from Advanced Practitioners, Residency-Trained and Boarded Diplomate clinicians.

Your rota will consist of 3 weekdays of 9 hours per shift, and we can be flexible towards which days during the week suits you best! (averaging 27 hours per week)

We have multiple nurse training centres within our group, and have certificate holders in surgery, medicine, cardiology and imaging. We also have vets with special interests in dermatology and ECC

Our team have a wealth of experience and you will be fully supported. Across the group, we have circa 30 veterinary surgeons, a nursing team of 70 and a further 70 support colleagues. There is a trained team in place of RVN’s to support referrals and surgeries.

All of our surgeries are extensively equipped, and we strive for clinical excellence. At Emsworth we have DR X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Ultrasonography, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, 2 Surgical theatres, capnography and in house Lab. We are well embedded in the local area, first established in 1947.
