About the Role


IVC Evidensia is seeking a Group Commercial Optimisation Manager to lead the development of advanced pricing models and analytics frameworks that guide commercial decision-making across our veterinary network.


What you'll do


Model Development & Advanced Analytics
Build and maintain regression-based price elasticity models across services, species, and geographies.
Apply econometric techniques (e.g. multivariate regressions, fixed effects) to inform pricing decisions.
Automate Python and SQL workflows for model refresh and re-estimation.
Support design of price optimisation algorithms and local pricing strategies.

Data & Infrastructure
Integrate complex datasets (sales, competitor pricing, operational metrics) into unified analytical views.
Create reusable analytics assets and documentation for operational use.

Insights & Business Partnering
Translate model outputs into actionable commercial insights.
Quantify local price headroom and elasticity variation across clinics.
Present findings to senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, Ops Directors) with clarity and impact.
Contribute to Group Pricing Strategy with evidence-based recommendations.


What you'll bring


Excellent communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex analytics.
Collaborative and proactive, comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams.
Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and motivated by solving commercial challenges through data.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in Python (pandas, stats models, scikit-learn) and SQL.
Strong command of regression techniques and model validation.
Experience in price elasticity or demand modelling in multi-site industries.
Advanced user of Power BI, Excel, and data visualisation tools.

Analytical & Commercial Acumen
Deep understanding of price–volume–mix dynamics and marginal profitability.
Ability to balance statistical rigor with commercial pragmatism.
Experience in regulated or transparent pricing environments is a plus.
