We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Training Centre Coordinator to join our Birmingham Training Centre and help deliver exceptional learning experiences for delegates, trainers and visitors.
Working alongside a fellow Coordinator and the wider Academy team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our training programmes run smoothly. From preparing training facilities and coordinating course logistics to welcoming delegates and maintaining our learning environments, you'll be at the heart of creating an outstanding experience for everyone who visits the Centre.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the day-to-day operation of our Birmingham Training Centre.
Preparing training rooms, equipment, resources and facilities for learning programmes.
Coordinating training course logistics and providing on-the-day delivery support.
Welcoming delegates, trainers and visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly experience.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the Training Centre and equipment.
Managing consumable stock levels and supporting operational efficiency.
Building strong relationships with trainers, suppliers, internal stakeholders and external partners.
Maintaining accurate records and supporting administrative processes.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and Academy projects.
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, GDPR and animal welfare requirements.
Supporting Academy events and programmes across the UK when required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about delivering brilliant customer experiences.
You'll Ideally Have:
Experience within a veterinary, education, training, events or similar environment.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
A customer-focused approach and confidence building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a busy environment.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
A flexible and collaborative approach to work.
Desirable
VCA qualification, Animal Management qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting practical or hands-on training programmes.
First Aid, Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) or other Health & Safety qualifications.
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.
Important Information
This role includes practical duties associated with the operation of a veterinary training facility, including manual handling, cleaning activities and the handling of pet cadavers and biological materials as part of training programme support. Full training and appropriate guidance will be provided.
There may also be occasional travel within the UK, including overnight stays, to support Academy events and programmes.
