From keeping on top of patient records, health plans, client communications, diary management and dispensing, our teams have a lot to think about and need smarter ways to provide the convenience and expertise that modern Pet owners have come to expect.
Main Purpose of Role
As a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, you will join an innovative, driven, and friendly international team of LMS administrators and Digital Learning Experts, undertaking a crucial role in enhancing the implementation, use and maintenance of IVC Evidensia's LMS and revolutionising the learning culture throughout the company.
You will work as part of an international team to develop the effectiveness of the LMS throughout IVC Evidensia, sharing knowledge, experience, and practice to ensure the system provides a positive user experience, meets organisational needs, and heightens our learning culture.
You will be the first point of contact for colleagues in your region who require support and guidance using the LMS, enabling them to achieve their learning aims and ambitions on our Litmos platform. You will undertake regular administrative tasks on the LMS including releasing the latest content, user management, reporting, system configuration and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day functions within the LMS such as maintaining the user database, assigning required learning modules, uploading online modules, and maintaining system functions.
- Provide technical support to the project, regional teams, and regional end-users, resolving technical queries raised by them.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within your region, ensuring you are an influencer and a 'go-to' person for all things 'LMS.'
- Support reporting requirements and help with projects that involve the extraction, manipulation, and analysis of the data from the LMS.
- Contribute to and maintain documentation relevant to the LMS and related policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the Global LMS Technologist and LMS Administration Team to develop and maintain the LMS in your region, including finding and contributing to areas for innovation and improvement.
- Test new features, functionality, third-party software, integrations, and content in co-ordination with relevant colleagues and teams as required.
- Assist in end user training of the LMS.
- Act as a role model, promoting the business values and brand, setting high standards through own behaviours and actions.

Person Specification / Competencies
Overview
You are a confident, empathetic communicator who easily builds good working relationships and rapport with others. You have an ability to simplify and clearly explain technological concepts to others with a wide range of technological understanding and competence.
Your experience working with and/or administrating a Learning Management System (LMS) or Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) means you are comfortable understanding and managing system functions, courses and learning content, user data and reporting functionalities. You understand relevant industry-standard practices and protocols and maintain an awareness of technologically grounded pedagogical approaches.
You are confident working with a variety of systems and tools, including the Office 365 suite. You have an aptitude for learning new and unfamiliar technologies and enjoy discovering improvements/refinements to ways of working through technology.
You can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with others to progress projects and achieve goals. You are comfortable working with colleagues internationally, communicating with others virtually and enjoy working fully remotely. You are comfortable with change and can adapt to evolving demands in a fluid environment.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Educated to degree level, or a minimum of 1 year working experience gained in a relevant role.
- Strong people skills including good oral and written communication.
- Ability to simplify and clearly explain technological concepts to people with a varied range of technological understanding and capability.
- Demonstrable experience working with and administrating Learning Management Systems.
- Demonstrable experience working with Office 365 programs and tools.
- Demonstrable experience of working with Excel, particularly to analyse and manipulate data.
- Knowledge of SCORM and xAPI protocols.
- Understanding of common digital learning content formats (e.g., audio, video, SCORM).
- Familiarity with technologically grounded pedagogies (e.g., gamification, micro-learning etc).
- Understanding of good data governance and compliance with GDPR legislation.
- A general aptitude for IT and all things technology.
- Strong organisation and time management capabilities.
- Able to work effectively both independently/autonomously and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Good oral and written communication skills in regional language(s) outside of the UK and Ireland.
- Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Prior experience using and/or administrating SAP Litmos.
- HR administration experience.
