This role provides an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the growing IVC Evidensia Tax function with a dedicated transfer pricing focus. This role offers broad exposure to transfer pricing, combining hands-on responsibility for transfer pricing advisory and compliance, and value-adding project work, also working closely with the Tax Reporting Lead and Corporation Tax Compliance Team with the opportunity to support on ad hoc corporate tax projects within a dynamic group environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in transfer pricing advisory to the business, Pillar II compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the tax function. We’re looking for a technically strong tax professional who can communicate clearly and effectively with both tax and non-tax stakeholders.
Transfer Pricing Advisory:
Primary responsibility for transfer pricing advisory to the business, such as:
Structuring pricing for groupwide IT projects and global research projects
Intragroup debt pricing
Group management recharges
Benchmarking
Working closely with Group Financial Accounting, Group Treasury, and other internal stakeholders
Transfer Pricing Compliance:
Preparation of the Group’s Transfer Pricing documentation, including Master File, Local Files
Drafting of corporate tax technical notes
Supporting with tax audits
Working with the Tax Reporting Lead to deliver Pillar II reporting and compliance
Project Work:
The Tax Function strives to identify opportunities to improve tax processes as well as supporting the wider business projects. As a result, this role will also include regular project work. This includes involvement and exposure to restructuring work, providing input into tax reporting and corporation tax compliance initiatives, and other finance related projects.
Qualified accountant or tax advisor.
Several years’ post-qualification, with evidence of CPD.
Experience could be gained in practice or industry (or combination).
Proven track record in corporate tax, including a knowledge of cross-border tax issues.
The ability to understand and explain technical issues.
An understanding and ability to quantify, communicate and manage tax risk.
Strong IT skills and experience with accounting reporting systems.
Effective communicator; able to build strong relationships with colleagues in other countries and departments and with third party tax advisors.
A desire to identify improvements and drive change; demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude.
Strong time management skills; comfortable working on multiple projects concurrently.
An ability to understand issues and identify potential solutions.
Able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
A desire to grow with the role as the Group continues to grow.
