Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Controller

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to lead a small team in the management of supplier invoice uploads via EDI (Peppol and APRO).
As the team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, ensuring data integrity, and handling any errors or discrepancies that arise. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams—such as Accounts Payable and the EDI team—as well as external suppliers to resolve issues and ensure the smooth flow of financial transactions.
Additionally, you will manage Supplier Statement Reconciliations and monitor EDI traffic to identify and address any gaps in supplier data.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Heading a Team of three (2+1) responsible for the upload of supplier invoices via EDI (Peppol and APRO). To include line management HR duties. Responsible for error reporting and control. Analysing data, assessing reasons and arranging correction in conjunction with EDI Team, Accounts Payable, Suppliers and other IVC Teams Monitoring EDI Traffic. Looking for and reporting gaps in suppliers uploaded data. Chasing and resolution of actions needed to complete the suppliers account with relation to Supplier Statement Reconciliations. Ultimately ensuring timely and reliable processing of EDI invoices.
Experience/Qualifications:
Essential:
Experience in supervising a small team and engaging with other partners within and external to IVC Ability in analysing data. Able to respond quickly to queries and engage with senior stakeholders Good communication skills and able to manage competing priorities
Desirable:
Previous use of of XELIX, Oracle and BI Reporting Knowledge of PEPPOL.
