Project Accountant Administration Assistant

Working in Group Finance, reporting to the Project Accountant, the Project Accountant Admin Assistant will work in close partnership with the Project Accounting team made up of three team members to accurately record all CAPEX and Below the Line costs across the IVCE Group.
Receiving requests from across the business from Project Managers to Budget holders, you will be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day Admin tasks are actioned to ensure project records up to date and aligned with other areas of the business.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Day to day Admin Duties
Monitor Projects Mailbox and action requests as appropriate including the set-up of new Projects Daily processing of APEX (the Group online CAPEX approval tool) requests for all countries Implement the new two-step Property projects approval process Set-up of new Maintenance CAPEX codes for each new clinic when requests received from the central teams Action any Zendesk tickets received in the shared mailbox Respond to ad-hoc Genpact & Project Manager queries and requests for information Power BI Access administration & ensuring the Glossary page is up to date
Data Cleansing & Alignment
Regular data cleanses by working with the Master Data Management team to align Projects with Clinical approval hierarchies Lead on a new initiative to update the End Date for all Growth and Investment projects Ensure all new Projects are set up with the correct Start and expected End dates
Other areas
Provide support on the accounting system transition for Canada Project Accounting Assistance with the Group CAPEX Reconciliation and commentary on variances Work closely with the Management Accounting team to clear down CAPEX work in progress reconciling items Track IT Acquisition technology workstream projects to ensure onboarding Technology costs have been assigned correctly to the new clinics Assist with transferring all Project costs into Parent company upon legal merger of Group entities Assist with key Opex Project Accounting as and when required
Experience/Qualifications:
Experience within an administration role with some exposure to accounting environment Strong organisational skills
A positive communicator with self-determination to improve processes Experience of Admin within an Accounting environment desired Interest in developing professionally with view to progressing with accountancy qualification Relationship building skills
