We are looking for a Student Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team of nurses in Lincoln. We are a busy small animal practice with two branches close by. We are a team of 5 Vets and 9 qualified Nurses. We have digital X-Ray, ultrasound machine, Internal Laboratory, Doppler, Dental X-Ray and much more!

How you'll make a difference

As a Student Veterinary Nurse, you will be supported and encouraged to develop both your clinical and non-clinical skills while working towards qualification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. 
 
You’ll be an integral part of the practice team, supporting patient care under the guidance of veterinary surgeons and registered veterinary nurses. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of nursing duties, while progressing through your training programme and developing confidence in your day-to-day practice.

  • Inpatients care
  • Kennel duties
  • Theatre duties
  • Nurse consults
  • Laboratory work

    This is a full-time role that would involve working 35 hours per week over a 5-day week, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break with a share of weekends and on call (inpatients only, no phones) on a rota basis.
