Here at Stocks Veterinary Centre, part of inspiring vet care, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced people-focused Practice Manager to join our team on a fixed term basis to cover a period of maternity leave. The role would be split between both of our practices and is ideal for a confident leader who thrives on supporting, developing, and empowering teams, while also setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement across the practice.
As Practice Manager, you will be the central point of leadership and accountability for the practice, ensuring both people and operations perform effectively and sustainably.
You will hold overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the practice. While key team members manage elements of these areas, you will monitor outcomes, review performance data, and ensure standards are consistently met, stepping in where support, guidance, or corrective action is needed.
Inspiring vet care is the UK and Europe’s leading veterinary care group, made up of over 900 practices and referral hospitals, united by a shared purpose of happier animals, happier owners.
At inspiring vet care, we believe careers should be built without limits. Our people are supported to make more clinical impact, access more career opportunities, and play an active role in their local and professional communities. Through investment in learning, innovation, and wellbeing, we create environments where our teams can grow in confidence, capability, and fulfilment—at every stage of their career.
