We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Strathmore Vets on a part-time basis.

At Strathmore Vets, we pride ourselves on being a close-knit, supportive team that values work-life balance. We are a gold standard cat-friendly practice with a separate cat ward and cat theatre. We are situated in a rural town just off the A303 with good links to London, coastal areas and the countryside. We are also close to several larger cities such as Salisbury, Southampton and Winchester and are approximately an hour away from Southampton and London Heathrow airports.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. 

 

You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Monday to Friday, covering 3 hours per day, rotating early and late shifts. You will also be involved in a Saturday rota, covering 1:4 Saturdays, 8:30 am- 1 pm.

 

Liaising with the clients and the clinical staff to provide a high level of customer care.

Meeting and greeting clients and pets.

Booking appointments and diary management.

Managing telephone and email enquiries.

Taking payment for services and products.

Managing cash and end-of-day banking.

Maintaining a clean and safe space for our clients and their pets.
