Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Location: Corner House Vets, Herne Bay
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
We are a fully equipped small animal practice that sees a busy and varied case load. You will be joining a collaborative team of 4 vets, 1 head nurse, 7 RVN’s, 3 receptionists and a long standing and accomplished director of practice. You will have an approachable established management team who love to collate ideas with team members to make sure the practice is working well for all with continued growth and development.

How you'll make a difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications, and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
You will be working a 40 hour week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 7.30pm. The weekend rota is 1:4 Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 1.30pm and you will have the Monday off in lieu.

We ask that you have experience in the veterinary profession due to the demanding role and responsibilities that our reception team undertake. You must be confident, have excellent communication skills, have a high capability for organisation and co-ordination to run a diary efficiently, have the client and patient at the for-front of everything you do and most of all be able to greet our clients with a big smile that makes them feel welcome.
