Here at Fyrnwy Equine we are looking for an Equine Yard Technician to join our team in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The role will involve supporting the nursing team and be actively involved with the daily care and treatment of inpatients.
There will be daily yard duties to include mucking out and deep cleaning of clinical areas.
Our ideal candidate will have experience handling with working with horses. Some form of qualification working with horses would be ideal. For the right candidate, this role could lead onto career progression in terms of Veterinary Nursing.
About the rota and salary
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week between 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday. There will be 1 in 5 weekend and night duties.
The salary will be from £21,673 up to £23,795 DOE per annum.

Fyrnwy Equine Group was established in 1978 by Rhys Owen and David Jagger. The current practice is spread across two sites based at Baschurch and Wrexham to allow us to provide 24-hour veterinary care across a wide geographical area. Fyrnwy Equine group comprises of a large specialist clinic and ambulatory facility dedicated to providing care to the horses of Shropshire, North Wales, and Cheshire.
