We have a rare opportunity to join our busy farm department in an administration/support role. This is an exciting role ideal for someone with good knowledge and understanding of the agricultural industry and livestock would be beneficial, although not essential. This is a maternity cover role expected to last 9-12 months.
Your duties will include:
Answering and directing phone callsCommunicating with pharmaceutical company repsStock control and rotationDispensing prescribed medication under supervisionAssisting with invoicingTB administrationAssisting with laboratory samples/testingResponsible for the organisation of vet and TB tester diariesTyping up farm health plansAccessing, updating, and presenting data on farm management systems

The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, be well organised with good attention to detail and show initiative. They will also need to be computer literate and comfortable working under pressure and in timescales.
Your shift pattern
This is a full/part-time job share role, working 40 hours over 5 days plus a Saturday morning on a rota basis.
The salary is up to £23,795.20 depending on experience.
