Park Vets in Leavesden has a vacancy for a receptionist and we are looking for a new colleague to join our friendly team. Our Leavesden Surgery is a small, consulting-only clinic, with a long history of caring for our clients and their pets.

Your role will include


  • Answering telephone calls and taking messages
  • Greeting clients
  • Booking appointments
  • Providing administrative support
  • Electronic filing and data entry
  • Keeping the reception area clean and tidy
  • Assisting the nursing team with the day-to-day tasks and organisation of the clinic.

    The role involves a high level of client care and teamwork and would suit someone who enjoys interacting with people and their pets.
    The ideal candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and be comfortable with multi-tasking and working in a busy environment.

    Working pattern


    Flexibility is at the heart of what we do and your shift pattern will be negotiable, the usual pattern is as follows;
    Monday and Tuesday 8.30 am – 7 pm, Wednesday 8:30 am – 1 pm and every other Saturday 8.30 am – 1 pm.
    The salary is up to £15,968.68 DOE.
