We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Rowe Veterinary Group at our Wotton branch on a full-time basis.
We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic Veterinary Care Assistant to join our friendly community practice! You’ll be working alongside a dedicated clinical team of experienced vets and nurses, all supported by an amazing front-of-house reception team who keep everything running smoothly. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while helping to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely.
Working under the direction of a veterinary surgeon or registered veterinary nurse, you'll support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.
Your shift pattern will be 8-5 or 10.30-7.30 Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday mornings 9am - 1pm with time back in lieu. You will also be part of the bank holiday rota which would be based at our Bradley Stoke Hospital
General responsibilities include:
Helping with patient care
Supporting the clinical team
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Making sure our patients feel as calm and comfortable as possible
