Knockanboy Vets is fantastic, mixed veterinary practice located in the lovely town of Ballmoney, County Antrim. Ballymoney is located on the main road between Coleraine and Ballymena, with good road and rail connections to the main cities in Northern Ireland, Belfast and Derry. We are close to the beautiful North Coast and have a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Giant's Causeway, less than a 25-minute bus ride away.
How You’ll Make a Difference
We are seeking a confident, friendly, and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for animal care. The successful candidate will be client-focused, thrive in a busy team environment, and be confident managing a varied workload across both locations.
In addition to front-of-house reception duties, this role will involve a range of administrative responsibilities, including processing and submitting insurance claims, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of both practices.
This is a part-time role working 34.5 hours per week to include 1 in 4 Saturdays.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
The ideal candidate will be capable of multi-tasking and will have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment; experience within a veterinary setting would be highly desirable. Experience handling sensitive and confidential information, working to tight deadlines, and using IT systems is essential.
The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work evenings and weekends as required.
