Unicorn Vets is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive veterinary receptionist to join our team.

In this role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for our clients and patients - handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing payments, promoting our healthcare services and ensuring the reception area offers a welcoming environment.

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is essential, along with the capability to collaborate effectively within a team. Prior experience in the veterinary field is advantageous.

You will be joining our fantastic team, who pride ourselves on being close-knit and working hard whilst enjoying each other’s company. We are dedicated to providing a positive and collaborative working environment for every member of our team.

Our long-established practice is in a great part of the world. Our Park branch is a stone’s throw from Southampton Common where’s there’s seasonal fairs, park-runs every Saturday morning and not to mention Race for Life.

We are close to the beautiful New Forest with easy access to the South coast, the idyllic South Downs, 20 minutes’ drive from Winchester and a little over an hour’s train ride to London.

We are excited to offer a full-time position, but we understand work-life balance is important. Ideally, you will work 40 hours per week across 4 long days with a Wednesday off; however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working.
