Role: Veterinary Receptionist

Location: The Vet Centre, Northamptonshire

Contract: Part-Time, permanent 

We are a practice with an excellent reputation for providing high quality care whilst still enjoying what we do. We are based on the grounds of the Cherry Lane Garden centre and are a friendly and supportive team.

How you'll make a difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction. 
 
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications, and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey. 
 
You role will include:
  • Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar, including future appointment.
  • Answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
  • Collect and update client information in the database.
  • Medication handling
  • Admin including scanning and organising paperwork.
  • Processing payments & debt management.
  • Cleaning
  •  
    This is a part-time permanent role working 20 hours per week from 8.30am – 12.30pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays.
