We are looking for a friendly, organised, and reliable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team on a part time basis, working across six of our practice sites.

This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service and working as part of a supportive team.

About the Role


As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be managing busy telephone lines and scheduling appointments efficiently, while handling email correspondence and client enquiries with care and professionalism.

Duties also include:

  • Processing payments
  • Managing stock
  • Assisting with account and insurance queries.
  • The successful candidate will ensure the practice remains clean, organised, and well-stocked, provide administrative support to the team, and occasionally assist the clinical staff with non-clinical animal handling during consultations.

    What We’re Looking For


    We are seeking someone with previous reception or customer service experience (experience in a veterinary or medical setting is a bonus, but not essential).

    You will have:

  • A passion for client care and strong communication skills
  • Excellent IT proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
  • Flexibility to work across multiple branches and varied shifts
  • Full training will be provided on-site, making this a fantastic opportunity to build your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

  • Working Hours


    This is for a part-time role working 25-27 hours per week. You must be flexible to work between 7:45 am and 7:15 pm, across a rota system, Monday to Friday. You will also partake in a Saturday rota.
