We have a fantastic and rare opportunity to work within our insurance department at Pride Veterinary Centre.
As an Insurance Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of insurance claims for our clients. This varied position involves processing direct claim insurance requests for both first opinion and multidiscipline referral cases for small animals. You will work closely with both clients and the clinical team to manage insurance paperwork, liaise with insurance companies, and ensure accurate and timely claims submission. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure that the claims process is seamless and that clients feel supported throughout their pet’s treatment journey.
You will process insurance claims after treatment, monitor them through to settlement of the claim and liaise with multiple insurance companies, clients, and other vet practices. Attention to detail is a vital requirement for this role, making sure claims are processed promptly and accurately.

We also operate additional veterinary practices in Derby, Nottingham, and Burton upon Trent, along with a dedicated farm and equine practice.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience within insurance and handling claims would be preferred, however, full on the job training will be provided along with continued support. Strong organisational skills are essential, as you will need to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a client-focused approach, are key to providing the best service. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude to efficiently handle queries and resolve issues.

This full-time role consists of 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The working hours will be Monday – Friday between the Office opening hours of 8am and 6pm.
