We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Inglis on a full-time/part-time basis.
We are a Veterinary Group with branch surgeries around Fife, Kinross and Edinburgh, with our main hospital based in Dunfermline, Fife. We have a great team and provide the highest level of veterinary services to clients and their pets.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
Working Pattern
40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with no weekend working
Key Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls and responding to client inquiries
Assisting clients at the front desk and offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Making appointments and managing bookings
Producing invoices and processing payments
Handling cash and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions
Going the extra mile to ensure clients feel valued and well cared for
Using your initiative to provide efficient and effective solutions to clients’ needs
