We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Downland Vets on a part-time basis.
Join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals, comprising Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants and Receptionists across East Sussex. We take pride in our commitment to continuous learning and development, with veterinary certificate holders in ECC and geriatric medicine, alongside a strong culture of ongoing training.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
Working Pattern
Most shifts are based at our Bognor clinics
One shift per week at our Selsey branch
Every other Saturday morning
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional client care and reception support
Manage appointments and client enquiries
Complete a range of administration tasks
Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control
Assist with stock control and laboratory duties
Support with basic animal care duties where required
