We are seeking an organised, personable Administrator/Receptionist to join our team at Forge Farm Vets on a part-time fixed-term basis for 12 months.

How You’ll Make a Difference

 

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

 

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

 

Working Pattern

This is a part-time role working 19 hours per week over 3 days, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am-3pm, Friday 9- 5pm.
 

Key Responsibilities

This is a varied and important role, providing a welcoming first point of contact for our clients while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. 

We are looking for someone who is approachable and confident when dealing with clients, who is highly organised and has good attention to detail.

The successful candidate should be comfortable handling administrative tasks, using computers and standard operating systems.


Previous experience in a veterinary practice, agricultural business or similar customer facing role would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. 

An interest in farming or the veterinary sector would also be beneficial.
