We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at The Veterinary Clinic, Erdington on a full-time fixed-term basis for 12 months.

How You’ll Make a Difference

 

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

 

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

 

Working Pattern

 
  • The role is full time 40 hours over 4 days and no weekends required. Part time applicants considered.

    Key Responsibilities

    You will be the friendly face that greets the clients and their pets as they walk through the door and will support the client/patient journey from registration, appointment management, insurance forms etc. 
    No previous experience with animals is required but a strong affinity towards them is preferred. 
    You will be working alongside two vets, two nurses and two student nurses with the support of a practice manager and clinical director. We are blessed with lovely loyal clients and patients and one of the most rewarding parts of the job is seeing them through their journey from first appointment through to old age or through their illness.
