Kingswood Vets is looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our friendly and fast-paced team in a full-time hybrid role combining Veterinary Care Assistant and Receptionist duties. How You’ll Make a Difference 

 
 
This dual-position role will be split between front-of-house reception duties and assisting our clinical team in the day-to-day care of our patients. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of the practice while delivering outstanding customer service.
 
 
This is a full-time position worked over 4 days per week on a rota basis, plus a Saturday morning rota. 
 
Reception duties:
 
  • Welcoming clients and their pets with a friendly and professional approach
    Managing appointments, phone calls, and client enquiries
    Handling payments and maintaining accurate records
    Supporting the smooth operation of the reception area
  •  
    VCA duties:
  • Assisting veterinary surgeons and nurses with patient handling and care
    Preparing clinical areas and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
    Supporting with routine procedures and patient monitoring
    Ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of animals in our care

  • Experience of working with animals in either a clinical or non-clinical setting would be advantageous
