An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time animal nursing assistant to join us at Vine Tree Vets. With 50% of the role spent with the client care team and 50% of the role spent supporting the nursing team, enabling us to continue offering the gold standard of care that we strive for at Vine Tree Vets.
The role is split between a client care position, being the first point of contact for our clients on the telephone and in person, ensuring that all visitors to the practice are met in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner. But also, will encompass 50% of supporting the nursing team, from cleaning to supporting the care of inpatients and the team.

Vine Tree Vets looks after a wide range of species in the heart of the Wye Valley; primarily cats and dogs, but also more exotic species such as monkeys and mountain lions!
The wonderful team at Vine Tree is made up of 4 vets, 5 nurses, 3 receptionists and a practice manager, some being with us anywhere from 10 to 25 years!!
We are passionate about supporting our team and understand the serious nature of mental health within the veterinary profession. The team regularly explore the outdoors with some of our team members having a strong passion for field sports. The team is very sociable regularly arranging activities including theatre trips, dog walks, pub nights and garden centre visits.
Work pattern
The role would suit somebody who is looking to work varied shift patterns 5 days a week, between the hours of 8:30 am to 7 pm (including every other Saturday morning).
The salary for this role is up to £23,795.20 DOE.
