We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Lynton House Vets on a part-time permanent basis.

Join an exceptional team at Lynton Vets Our 6 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 ANAs and experienced Receptionists across the Group. We have a family like culture in practice and have embedded a truly support and encourage ethos amongst the team. Each practice has an essential SOS chocolate station, and we are never short of cake with some excellent bakers across the group! Mental and physical well-being of the team is paramount to us.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

8 hour shifts - early start from 7:30 am and latest finish 19:30 with Saturdays on a rota

Key Responsibilities

You will manage appointment bookings, handle queries, and take payments, while also dispensing medication and assisting with general administrative tasks. Additionally, you will be required to handle account queries, chase outstanding debt, and manage payments, as well as complete end-of-day banking and monitor petty cash records. You will also support the team with any other administrative tasks as required by the Head Receptionist, Practice Manager or Clinical Director will also be part of your duties.
