About the Practice
At White Cross Vets we have 21 clinics, across the UK. All of our clinics have teams with different interests with team members undergoing further training by certificates or having those that have achieved certificate status. Being part of something bigger, offers a fantastic level of support on a wider group level and allows us to grow and develop a higher quality first opinion pet care, whilst providing internal career progression opportunities.
Our Roundhay practice is located in a beautiful suburb in North Leeds which is home to one of the biggest parks in Europe!
We’re surrounded by lovely restaurants, cafés and delis and we’re not far from both Leeds City centre and Harrogate. Within the practice, we have a laparoscopic spay, ultrasound , Phovia, dental x-ray to name a few!
About the Team
We’re a friendly team at Roundhay who love to socialise together outside of work as well as getting stuck in with our monthly wellbeing afternoons and team activities. With a range of things we get up to, such as walks, Easter egg decorating and films with popcorn! We also have the added benefit of two neighbouring White Cross Practices, Guiseley and Eccleshill and have the Central Support Team just 20 minutes down the road! We’re also lucky enough to have a lovely set of clients, a large proportion of which are insured and are part of our Complete Wellness Plan!
“We are a friendly and supportive team, who regularly engage in clinical meetings to strive to give the best care for our patients. Our regular wellbeing afternoons give us that much needed downtime and chance to recharge. These can range from walks in the park, to quizzes and film afternoons. A well-deserved break from the busy day to day life in a veterinary practice! We feel it is important to organise social events outside of work and enjoy food related activities!” – Karen Manners, Clinic Director.
