If you’re looking for a nursing role where your skills are trusted, your growth is encouraged, and your work-life balance genuinely matters — this could be the perfect next step.
At Anicare Santry, you’ll join a friendly, close-knit team where collaboration, support and high clinical standards go hand in hand.
Whether you’re newly qualified or bring years of experience, you’ll be welcomed into an environment that allows you to develop at your own pace while feeling part of something bigger.
This is a true general practice nursing position offering a great mix of hands-on clinical work and client interaction. You’ll be actively involved in all aspects of patient care, from surgical support through to nurse consults, with the autonomy to use your skills fully.
Your day-to-day will naturally include a blend of anaesthesia monitoring, assisting with routine procedures, running your own nurse consultations, and contributing to the smooth running of the practice, including stock and pharmacy management. There’s also the opportunity to be involved in inpatient care and occasionally support the front-of-house team when needed, giving you great exposure across all areas of practice life.
We know flexibility matters, so this role is built with that in mind. Full-time, part-time and flexible working options are all available, including a 4-day week where preferred. The rota is structured to support a healthy balance, with approximately 1.5 weekends in 6 and no out-of-hours or overnight commitments.
While the role is based in Santry, there may be occasional opportunities to support nearby clinics in Clontarf or Botanic if you'd like, offering variety and connection across the wider group.
You’ll be part of a welcoming two-nurse team within a well-equipped, first-opinion clinic, backed by the wider Anicare Veterinary Group network. Collaboration is at the heart of how the team works, with access to experienced colleagues, additional clinical support, and referral services when needed.
This is an environment where you’ll feel supported, whether you’re building confidence as a new graduate or looking to further develop your existing skills.
This opportunity is ideal for a qualified RVN — or a soon-to-be graduate eligible for VCI registration — who is motivated, team-oriented, and keen to grow within a supportive practice. A positive attitude, willingness to get involved, and a genuine passion for patient care will see you thrive here.
Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll benefit from a well-rounded package designed to support you both professionally and personally.
