We are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The role is the full mix of veterinary nursing, no day is the same. We actively encourage our nurses to fully use their skills in addition to the more routine tasks. You will also take care of in-patients, nurse clinics, monitoring of anaesthesia as well as assisting in theatre.

Work/life balance is important to us so we would welcome both full and part time applicants and are open to discussing working days/hours. Our shifts ranging from 8am - 4:30pm and 11am - 7pm with no weekends or OOH.

We are a well-established, first-opinion practice based in Cardiff, with access to an excellent mix of countryside and city life. Across our 3 branches, we are well-equipped with an in-house lab, digital x-ray, K laser, u/s scanner, and a brand new dental x-ray. Our facilities allow us to do as much as we can in-house, allowing our vets full clinical freedom.

You will be joining an experienced and caring Practice and Clinical Directors, 4 Veterinary Surgeons and a supportive team of RVNs and supporting team members. Sharing all our knowledge is something we love to do, your opinion and input matters to us. approach, and we thrive with that ethos. Our CD is a very experienced vet with a passion for coaching and development. Dentals are also a big focus for our team with one of our RVNs going to Dublin for CPD. Across the team we have a wealth of experience so there is support both surgically and medically - all of us are willing to help one another and discuss cases. CPD/Certificates and further learning is actively encouraged and supported.
