Here is a testimonial from our nurse Rachel:

"I have been working as a veterinary nurse at Amery Vets for nearly nine years, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Having started here as a student, I’ve had the privilege of growing and developing into a qualified nurse within a team that has supported me every step of the way.

From the very beginning, I felt welcomed into a small, close-knit and friendly team that truly looks out for one another. Over the years, my confidence and clinical skills have grown significantly, and I’ve always felt encouraged to keep learning and further developing my skill set.

I particularly enjoy in-patient care and nurse consultations, as they allow me to build strong relationships with both patients and their owners while playing an active role in their treatment and recovery. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see patients progress and know you’ve been part of their journey.

What makes this practice stand out is the genuine sense of teamwork and compassion. No matter how busy things get, there is always support available, and everyone works together to provide the highest standard of care. The practice actively supports professional development and creates opportunities to continue learning, which has been so important in my growth as a nurse.

After nearly a decade here, I can honestly say it feels less like a workplace and more like a second home. I’m proud to be part of such a dedicated, supportive, and caring team."
