We're looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Provost Vet Group on a full-time basis. To welcome you to the team, we're also offering a £1,500 welcome bonus, and £2000 relocation allowance.

Our modern, purpose-built surgery is located in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews with 2 branches in the local area. The practice is well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, Imotek ultrasound machine and in-house lab. We have designated cat, dog and isolation wards and we are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic. Further certification and career progression can be supported.

Ideally located in the heart of St Andrews, our practice is within easy commuting distance of several major towns and cities, including:

Dundee – approximately 30 minutes
Kirkcaldy – approximately 45 minutes
Perth – approximately 50 minutes

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working hours

40 hours per week

Working 4 days per week

1 in 4 Saturday rota with TOIL

No OOH requirement.

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:

Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively

A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
