Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Alder Vets on a full-time basis.
We have two very well-established surgeries in the Lincolnshire market towns of Spalding and Bourne, both of which have a loyal client base of well over 20 years.
Both practices are equipped with digital radiography, Spalding has recently upgraded to the CSDR small animal DR system Xray, we have modern ultrasound machines at each branch, and dental Xray in our Bourne branch , in-house blood testing equipment. We also have good-sized theatres and consult rooms for our varied first opinion cases. Our Spalding branch has very recently been refurbished to a high spec finish and our Bourne branch is next on the list.
Our friendly team comprises of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Nurses , and a full team of Receptionists. None of us could do our jobs properly without each other!

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role worked across four 10-hour shifts per week, with one weekday off to support a healthy work-life balance. There is also participation in a Saturday rota of 1 in 5 Saturdays, consisting of a 4-hour shift. There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday requirements.
