We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at New Malden Vets on a full-time basis.
New Malden Vets are a vibrant, community-focused practice with excellent transport links to Wimbledon, Kingston upon Thames, Central London, and even the coast - making us perfectly placed for both city life and weekend escapes. Our modern, well-equipped clinic features advanced diagnostic technology, including multiparameter monitors, digital X-ray, and dental X-ray, enabling us to provide the highest standard of care.

Our team is made up of 2 Clinical Directors, 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Animal Care assistant, and 6 fantastic Receptionists. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This role offers a diverse schedule, averaging 40 hours per week with rotating shifts, including 8 am-3 pm, 8 am-6 pm, 12 pm-8 pm, and 11 am-6 pm. Additionally, you'll be part of a 1-in-5 weekend rota (Saturdays 8 am-2 pm), with a well-deserved day off following your weekend shift.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including consultations, pharmacy duties, inpatient care, anaesthetic monitoring, Stage 1 dentals, and imaging. With the support of our exceptional reception team, you'll spend minimal time on administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on what you do best - delivering outstanding care to our patients.

Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
